Sylvester is passionate about living right with God and being real with people…He is a professional songwriter, musician, arranger, producer and an ordained minister…
Born into a large military family, who’s Mother’s side was loaded with singing and musical talent, traveling was common practice for him…
He started writing and singing songs at a very young age, always hearing music in his head…
He was in his first band in High School and started playing clubs shortly thereafter…
Sylvester was influenced by many styles of music but his Southern roots as well as the infusion of jazz, rhythm and blues, country and rock all come together in his style that can best be described as “Gumbo Gospel.”

Since his personal journey began he has ministered from the East to the West Coast with the Gospel Group Messengers of Jesus Christ and in places such as the House of Blues in New Orleans and the Frank Irwin Center in Austin…
In his earlier years in California he did a lot of outreach such as prison and street ministry with New Life Ministries as well as the Full Gospel Businessman’s Fellowship International. He is comfortable playing in a small coffee house or on a large stage. He has been a guest on TBN as well as several other local TV stations. His music is broadcast on a regular basis with local radio stations here in Austin and in California…

Sylvester has had the privilege of sharing the platform with a wide spectrum of diverse artists playing solo opening for the Jason Ingram Band, Danny Daniels and Among Thorns…he has also played with former members of Santana and Malo…
Sylvester is called to minister with a collaboration of God’s Word and Music…He takes people on a spiritual and intimate journey that is memorable and is a celebration of life to listeners of all ages. Every song is spiritually creative, songs that give hope, encouraging words, praise and adoration that are joyously refreshing…His lyrics are about relationships relating to the trials, pains, fears and struggles we all face…His thought provoking lyrics make people reflect and leaves an imprint on their hearts…The creativity that shines through in the ministry tells us that Jesus still saves, heals, delivers and is the only one who can truly fill the needs and void in our life…

But first and foremost Sylvester. ministers to an audience of One…He feels so blessed to have God’s calling of ministry and music on his life and to be lead by the Holy Spirit in each presentation. Music is instantly understood as the language of the heart all over the world…Music and worship opens the door and hearts of precious souls so that God’s word of healing and deliverance can come through to the listener…
